At Wellcat, we have lots of older cats who will probably never find a home – although we never give up hope that one day they will.

Older cats need special attention — and more frequent visits to the vets, so to help with their upkeep we are asking supporters to sponsor an older cat. Regular updates and images of your chosen cat will help keep you informed of their welfare.

Wellcat has a number of cats with special needs. Some cats have lead a very difficult life and could really use sincere love, care and attention.

Nurturing skills required — Can you take in a maltreated or otherwise disabled cat? Some have minor behavioral problems while others, on the other hand, have quite severe physical handicaps.

Wellcat has a great many feral cats that are in need of good homes (fifteen of which are listed on this website…so there's a lot to choose from!).

Best suited to living on a farm — stables or even a small-holding where they can work for their keep and reduce the mice and rat population. Remember, they happily work in pairs!
